Carsten is the CEO and founder of the Tanner Speed Academy in Göteborg, Sweden. Specialising in Speed Coaching including running speed and cognitive speed.

Regarded as one of the best Speed Coaches in team sports in Europe, Carsten holds a degree in training science and joined several courses of different areas of strength and conditioning to be always up to date on a scientific level.

He has worked as a coach at professional and academy level in Sweden and Germany. Clients include among others athletes and teams from IFK Göteborg, Bayern Muenchen, Schalke 04, TSG Hoffenheim, Hannover 96, Spvgg Greuther Fuerth, BK Häcken, Östersund FK, Fortuna Sittard, Juventus Turin, Hellas Verona, FC Copenhagen, Bröndby IF, Djurgården IF, Sweden National Futsal Team and FIFA referee association.

He currently works as a speed coaching consultant at IFK Göteborg academy.

Carsten runs education courses and workshops for Coaches and Players. He has run presentations at coach congresses and coach licenses courses on international level for several Football and Coach associations such as BDFL (Germany) ÖFB, NÖFV, SFV, KFV (Austria), NZS (Slovenia), FLF (Luxemburg), AFC (Asian Football Confederation), GFF and VFF (Sweden)
